The Get Your Green Card initiative is Chakraviu Nepal’s way of saying thank you and welcome to everyone who chooses to be part of From Jeans to Dreams: Upcycling for Education. It is designed for denim donors and supporters of our upcycled products who help turn old jeans into school bags and stationery pouches for students in rural public schools across Nepal.
Think of the Green Card as your entry into a growing community of people who believe that small, thoughtful actions can lead to meaningful change. When you donate jeans or purchase upcycled products, you are not just giving materials or money, you are actively helping extend the life of a resource, reduce waste, and support a child’s education at the same time. The Green Card celebrates this choice and makes your impact visible.
GreenCard Questions ?
The Green Card represents your role in a circular system. Your donated jeans are collected, cleaned, and upcycled into durable school kits. Those kits travel to classrooms where they protect books, lighten school journeys, and support daily learning. With each step, your contribution stays part of the story. The Green Card is a simple reminder that sustainability and education can begin with everyday decisions.
Every pair of jeans donated and every rupee contributed plays a role in:
1. Reducing textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfills
2. Saving water, energy, and carbon emissions embedded in denim
3. Supporting children with durable school kits they rely on every day
4. Creating local livelihoods through upcycling and craftsmanship
The Green Card exists to recognize this shared effort and to make impact visible, personal, and ongoing.
You can receive a Chakraviu Nepal Green Card by meeting any one of the following criteria:
✔ Denim Donors
Donate at least 20 pairs of post-consumer jeans to support the creation of upcycled school bags and stationery pouches.
✔ Product Supporters
Purchase upcycled products worth NPR 10,000 or more, directly supporting artisan livelihoods and the school kit program.
Both paths lead to the same impact, turning denim into educational tools and keeping waste out of landfills.

2. Receive your Green Card, digital or physical, along with impact updates
3. Stay connected as your contribution continues to support students and communities
As a Green Card holder, you become part of Chakraviu Nepal’s extended impact community and receive:
1. Official Green Card recognition as a supporter of circular education
2. Special year round discounts on our upcycled products
3. Priority updates on school kit distributions, denim drives, and impact milestones
