In the heart of Godamchaur, Lalitpur, stands Shree Bishankhu Narayan Secondary School, a place of learning for over 150 students. However, the majority of these young learners face hardship, with 90% hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Uniforms, a simple yet crucial element of the school experience, remained out of reach for 82% of the students.
The impact of lack of uniform cannot be overstated, especially on the young, impressionable minds of students. Chakraviu Nepal recognized the urgency and took action. 125 students were provided with uniform tracksuit sets and stationery packages in a fun-filled program. The impact was profound. What once seemed like a distant dream became a reality as each student proudly donned their uniform.
The transformation was more than just visual. The school’s atmosphere shifted, radiating unity and pride. Morning assemblies became vibrant displays of togetherness. The once-fractured school now stood united, with tracksuit-clad students forming a colorful tapestry of shared purpose.
